Grief support

The Seat Pocket.

When you’re tired of explaining, start with the card that sounds like your day.

01My first trip without them

Pick one moment you want company for. Text a friend before you leave. “Could I call you when I get to the hotel? That’s the part I’m dreading.”

02I want to hear their name

Borrow this text. “I’ve been missing them today. Would you send me a memory? Even something small or ridiculous would mean a lot.”

03It’s complicated

Ben and I had been divorced for four months when he died. Some days “my ex-husband” feels too small for the person I miss. If all you can say today is their name, you can start there.
