Podcast guest appearances & press

In-Flight Entertainment

Usually when I pick up a mic, I’m asking you to check your seat belt. These conversations get a little more personal. I’ve been invited to talk about life as a flight attendant, getting sober, and what it’s like to grieve someone you used to be married to. Whether you’re on a layover or folding laundry, I’m glad you’re listening.

Speaking & credentials

What I bring to the conversation

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and a certificate in grief and trauma-informed coaching. I’ve also spent 11 years as a flight attendant, long enough to know that two people sitting in the same row can be on their way to a wedding and a funeral.

When I speak about grief, sobriety, and starting over, I share what those things have looked like in my own life. I talk about losing my dad, grieving my ex-husband Ben just four months after our divorce, and figuring out how to introduce myself again when the old answers didn’t quite fit.

My hope is that someone in the room hears a part of their own story and thinks, “I’ve never known how to say that out loud.”
